They’re here!!!

In grocery stores around Denmark this week, there is a bold new face on the cheese shelf. PlanetDairy is replacing the Audu brand with the company name, PlanetDairy, and introducing a striking character on the front of the packs.

“We listened to our consumers and realised that there was some confusion. ‘Is this a vegan cheese?’, they wondered. And so we decided to act upon this feedback”, says Jakob Skovgaard, founder and CEO of PlanetDairy. “There was also a lack of understanding of the brand name ‘Audu’. Our new designs have been created to stand out on shelf and clearly communicate what we are offering our shoppers and consumers – great tasting cheese with lower CO2”

“We have also taken the opportunity to improve our recipe which results in even more carbon reduction – now over 40% lower than traditional cheese, and with lower saturated fat,” adds Paul Cornillon, co-founder and Chief R&D Officer.

The new products are on their way to stores now and can be found in Rema1000, Meny, Spar, and Lidl. They will also soon be on their way to stores in Sweden and Finland.
